OnState Names Bill Loconzolo as Vice President of Engineering
Former CTO of Performix also led software development at Nokia, TeleGea and Dataware
Lincoln, Mass. — October 29, 2007 — OnState Communications, innovating new-generation call center solutions, today announced the appointment of William J. Loconzolo as vice president of engineering. Previously chief technology officer at Performix Technologies, Loconzolo is a software development veteran who has brought to market leading technologies from Nokia, TeleGea and Dataware Technologies.

With over 15 years of successful software engineering experience spanning innovative start-ups and established industry leaders, Loconzolo brings a wealth of expertise to his position as vice president of engineering at OnState Communications. Formerly CTO at Performix Technologies, a provider of employee performance management solutions (acquired by NICE Systems), Loconzolo designed the product and developed the team responsible for Performix 4, which was awarded TMC's 2006 Product of the Year Award. Prior to Performix, Loconzolo was a senior architect at Nokia where, among his many accomplishments, he led the team that designed and implemented Nokia's Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) server-side software platform - a $48 million product line used by many of the world's largest communications providers. As vice president of engineering at TeleGea, Loconzolo developed the engineering department that created an enterprise software platform for telco carriers, which enabled self-help, business process automation, and integrated back-office functionality. In the 1990s, he was director of software engineering at Dataware Technologies where he managed the development of the company's knowledge management product line. Loconzolo earned his BS in electrical engineering from Northeastern University, is a frequent speaker at industry events, and has published several software architecture papers. Currently he holds a US patent on image processing and has US patents pending in the areas of VoIP services and data mart transformations.
